All Saints Church Welcome Revd Marion Williams as Priest-in-Charge
A packed congregation gathered on Monday evening (18 Sept) at All Saints Church, The Chase, Cranham, to witness the Licensing and Installation of the Revd Marion Williams as Priest-in-Charge of the Parish of Cranham All Saints.
The ceremony was conducted by the Bishop of Barking, the Rt Revd Peter Hill and the Archdeacon of Barking, the Venerable Dr John Perumbulath.
Set against the beautiful and historic setting of the church, which can be traced back to the 13th Century, the service was capped off with numerous expressions of welcome and congratulations from members of the community, Council and clergy.
Marion said: “I have served All Saints Cranham for just under two years as a Curate- in-charge, and am excited to be licensed and installed as Priest-in-charge. I was blessed to see the church so full, and I look forward to my continuing to serve the people of Cranham.”
