Overgrown Grass Verges

Residents will have noticed that many grass verges are quite overgrown and in need of cutting back. We have brought this up with the Council and have had the following response: ‘Due to the very wet Spring and the subsequent ground conditions, the grass cutting schedules have been delayed throughout the borough. Extra resources are in place to resolve this and ensure we get back on schedule as a priority’. We shall be keeping a close eye on this, but please let any of your RA councillors know if there is no improvement over the next week or so.
