April 2020 Bulletin now online – Statement from Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association

It is with regret that the Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association have decided not to produce a paper copy of April’s edition of The Bulletin. Instead, we have published it as an online version only – April 2020 Bulletin .

We realise that this is far from ideal, particularly as not everyone who receives it has internet access, but we felt we had no other practical choice in the current circumstances.

The main reason for our decision is that many of our volunteer deliverers are in the categories being advised by the Government to self-isolate for the foreseeable future. In addition, we believe that the risk of transferring the coronavirus through delivering copies of The Bulletin to households, however small, is not worth taking. We hope that everyone will understand.

A decision has not yet been made regarding the May edition. We will update our website when we know. In the meantime, we would encourage encourage everyone to circulate the link to the April 2020 Bulletin to anyone they know who would normally receive a paper copy.

Please note that the April Bulletin was produced in mid March, prior to many of the Government restrictions coming into place. Some articles may therefore seem to be less relevant than normal. Also, all events shown should be assumed to have been cancelled unless confirmed as continuing via other means.
