Breaking news – Green bin waste collections to resume
(Breaking news – 6pm Wednesday 22 April)
It has just been confirmed to Residents’ Association councillors that Havering Council will be resuming green bin waste collections from Monday 27 April. The collection dates will be as per the published collection calendar.
The Council have also said that they will compensate subscribers for the two missed collections over the past month. Further details will be provided when we have them.
Great to hear that the garden waste collections will resume; for me this amounts to a vital service. As to the refund, I believe three, rather than two, collections have been missed for those of us who have renewed our previous contracts.
