Chapman’s Farm – Public Meeting

After a year of speculation, a planning application (P1673.18) has now been lodged with the Council for the demolition of the existing livery yard and the erection of nine dwellings, made up of 4 x 3-bedroom, 3 x 4-bedroom and 2 x 5-bedroom units at Chapman’s Farm, Hall Lane, Upminster.

The Upminster & Cranham Residents’ Association share the concerns of many residents about this development on Green Belt land and encourage residents to view the proposals and plans by visiting  P1673.18 . Plans can also be viewed by visiting Planning Reception, Public Advice & Service Centre, Liberty Shopping Centre (please check opening hours on 01708 434343 first) or write to Development Control, 5th Floor, Mercury House, Romford, RM1 3SL. Emails to planning@havering.gov.uk are also acceptable. Please ensure you include the reference number (P1673.18) in any correspondence.

Comments/Objections should be returned to the Council by 14th December.

The Residents’ Association will also hold a public meeting on 6th December at 8pm in the Cranham Community Centre (small hall), Marlborough Gardens, to discuss the application.

Please visit the Upminster & Cranham Residents’ Association website at ucra.co.uk for regular updates.
