At last night’s Full Council Meeting, Cllr John Tyler (Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association), highlighted the delay in tackling parking problems in Chelmer Road, Cranham, during Members Questions.

Following complaints from residents, in early 2019 Havering Council were asked to conduct a survey of residents, to seek their views on introducing further parking restrictions. Council officials agreed to do this, but despite numerous chase-up e-mails, nothing has been done.

As a result of questioning, the Cabinet Member for Environment, Cllr Osman Dervish, agreed to look into the matter. Residents will be updated when we have further news.
