Once again Upminster Methodist Church in Hall Lane, is preparing for their Christmas Tree Festival and this year it is back in the church. It will be the eleventh year the church has arranged this event, which provides a lovely introduction for all ages to the Christmas season.

They have invited local schools and organisations from the church and community to decorate trees for this event.

The Festival opens on Saturday 04 December at 10am and there will be refreshments available all day. The opening times are Saturdays 10-4pm, Sundays 2-5pm and weekdays 2-6pm.

We hope community groups and schools will visit during the week to see the trees. Entrance is free, and money raised through donations will be given to their chosen charity, which this year is St Francis Hospice.
