A number of complaints have been made about some of the entrances to the Upminster Hall Lane Playing Fields. On Sunday 15^th November, the Upminster Hall Lane Playing Fields Friends Group (14 helpers including children), met at the Marlborough Gardens entrance. Armed with tools, they started work on clearing the years of overgrowth, which took two hours of hard work, chatter and humour to clear one side of rubbish, nettles, brambles, grass and soil. The group has established that this particular entrance is no longer required for vehicular access, and are looking to make some improvements.
