Last year the former Care Home at Dury Falls was sold for development. Any reservations over the future of the building have been allayed with the splendid restoration of the house.
Set on 0.3 of an acre, the 17th Century grade II listed building was constructed in 1595. Following restoration in 1972, it was established as a private Residential Care Home for the elderly, before closure in 2016. The restored building looks excellent and is now home to eight 1 & 2 bedroom apartments.
