Essex Disabled Darts League

The very first Essex Disabled Darts League (EDDL) is being formed in Rainham, Essex, with the full backing from the BDDA (British Disabled Darts Association). They are looking for members to join and volunteers to help but also still need to raise money to buy start-up equipment.

‘We are looking for players from the ages of 18 and above, male or female, who are in receipt of DLA/PIP. Even if you have never played darts before, this will be a great social event, you will be able to meet new people which already play darts for some of the bigger Disabled Darts teams in the world.

Registration will be a cost of £10 per year and £2 entry into each set of games per week (subs). All the monies including donations from friends, family and business will be fully put back into the EDDL for players prize monies at the end of each event, this will also help to pay towards shirts, trophies, equipment, medals and badges etc.

The venue is the Silver Hall Social Club, 165 New Road, Rainham, RM13 8SH, on Wednesdays (times to be arranged).  Our first meeting is on Wednesday 1st May 2019 from 1pm – till late. This is purely for registration. Games commence from Wednesday 8th May 2019.’
