The All Saints Players present a production of “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves” a pantomime written by Alan Frayn.
Business isn’t good in Old Baghdad, everyone is scared of being robbed by the forty thieves including the comedy Dame, Fatima Fandango a former belly dancer and Mustafa Screwloose her dopey house boy. Events take a turn for the worse when on her way to marry the Prince, the Princess Jasmine is robbed by thieves and the Vizier offers a reward to anyone who can find the thieves and their secret hideaway. So begins Ali Baba’s adventures as he discovers the thieves’ secret cave and, with the help of his servant and friends, attempts to defeat the King of Thieves’ plan to raid the Sultan’s palace.
“Ali Baba” will be staged at All Saints Church Hall, Ardleigh Green Road, Hornchurch, RM11 2LG (next to Havering College).
