Friends Against Scams – Avoiding coronavirus scams

Our local police Safer Neighbourhood Teams have asked us to highlight the advice being given on the Friends Against Scams website.

Friends Against Scams is a National Trading Standards Scams Team initiative, which aims to protect and prevent people from becoming victims of scams by empowering people to take a stand against scams.

They have lots of information and advice on the website, including on preventing coronavirus scams.
