The last Full Council Meeting before the Local Elections in May will be held tonight (23 March 2022) in Romford Town Hall, starting at 7.30pm. The meeting will be available via live webcast and afterwards via recorded video.

Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association councillors have submitted questions concerning speed reduction measures in North Ockendon and replacing the barrier in Hoppy Hall car park.

We have also submitted two motions regarding the following issues –

• Increasing recycling rates above those currently proposed for Havering
• The lack of action in preparing a report concerning traffic safety measures in several areas of Upminster
