Green Light for Hall Mead ARP
Hall Mead School in Marlborough Gardens, has been providing outstanding education for 12 students as part of their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) but have at times faced challenges to get the necessary funding to support the increased demand to support pupils who have additional needs.
Back in January this year, Havering Council launched a consultation process on plans to merge the 12 place ARP with the 10 place Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Learning Resource Unit, at one location, Hall Mead School. The Regional Schools Commissioner, who has oversight of Academies, has now approved the merger, which has created a 22 place ARP at Hall Mead School for pupils with ASD.
