Havering Concert Orchestra will be holding A Family Concert from 3-4pm on Sunday 17 March 2024 in the New Windmill Hall, St. Mary’s Lane, Upminster.

This Spring afternoon Family Concert is a relaxed concert for the whole family. It will be ideal as a first concert for children, teenagers, and adults alike. There will be opportunities to join in, meet the instruments, meet the players, and ask questions.

The pieces will be introduced, and Peter and the Wolf will be narrated by Simon Tatnall. Simon is a professional opera singer, writer, director of his own opera company and of several musical groups, as well as being their Conductor’s father.

Programme will include:

• Prokofiev – Peter & Wolf
• Rossini – William Tell
• A selection of music from the Films including: Harry Potter; Star Wars; The Lion King and more

Tickets are £12 on their website or £15 on the door. Refreshments will be available.
