Havering won over 25 awards (including 16 gold) in the recent London in Bloom campaign and competition, where London boroughs, communities, residents and businesses can work together to improve their environments and make them greener, cleaner places to live, work and visit.

Locally, Upminster Park won a Gold Award in the Large Park of the Year category and South Essex Crematorium/Upminster Cemetery won a Gold Award in the Large Cemetery category.

Well done to all concerned in helping make our area such a great place to live!
