Missed rubbish collections and New Year collection dates

Most households in Upminster and Cranham are due to have their waste and recycling bags collected today (Monday 04 January 2021). The amount collected after Christmas is normally double what it would be on a normal week and consequently the collection lorries need to go to be emptied more often. This can lead the the crews running out of time and missing some roads.

If you have not had your bags collected by 5pm on the day it is due, your can check whether your road is listed as having been missed via the Roads with missed waste collections webpage. If your location is not on the list, you should report it to Havering Council via their Report a missed collection page or by calling 01708 432 563.

Anyone whose collection has been missed should leave their bags out again the next morning by 7am.

*** Please remember that if your waste is normally collected on a Thursday, then the next collections will be on Saturday 09 January and then Friday 15 January. Normal collection days will resume from Thursday 21 January. ***
