Moor Lane Church Building Project
As you travel up Moor Lane from the Cranham shops, Moor Lane Church is the last building on the right. Since the 1950s it has seen many come through it’s doors. First used as a social hall, then as a place for Christian worship, perhaps you have memories of attending a playgroup or one of the many clubs, or worshipping there on Sundays. Or maybe you came to a baptism, wedding or funeral service. Over the years a lot has gone on under that roof and still does.
Work is due to start to make the building more user friendly. The plan is to centralise the front doors, with a foyer beyond leading through to the main worship/social area. A new extension will house an accessible toilet, suitable for those who struggle a bit, and a baby changing unit. The kitchen will be resited and refitted.
When the work is complete, we hope you will come to see for yourself. Moor Lane Church members would love to welcome you for “Coffee and Cake” and a good look round.
Hello there
We have a friend coming to the echo gig on Saturday who has a scooter to enable him to travel. Are there any steps to negotiate at all please ?

Dear Di,
This post is from 2017. The work was completed and your friend should be fine.
Kind regards
