You may remember that in around March this year an online petition was started by a local resident, Barry Major, against the new parking charges in Upminster and Hornchurch. This petition gained over 11,000 signatures but was apparently rejected by the current Council Administration as it did not contain the correct wording. Therefore, Barry Major has started a new petition (with the correct wording).

The Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association (as well as most other local RA groups) are supporting this petition as part of our Save Our Shops (S.O.S.) campaign and encouraging residents and business people to sign it via this LINK.
