Dear Vicky,

I can confirm that Upminster Ward councillors have 'called in' the application, so that if it is recommended for approval by Havering's Planning Department, it will instead go before a Planning Committee, to be heard in full, before they make a decision.

Kind regards

I see the plans have once again been submitted to build a Brain Injury Unit in St Mary’s Lane on the land which has been allowed to become completely overgrown.
I sincerely hope the Upminster Councillors will object to this application as this land is part of the Cranham Conservation area.
We have already lost part of this conservation area to the building of Coopers Coborn school and the large houses at the bottom of The Chase.
How much more will be given over to buildings at a loss of our green conservation areas?
I have objected to this application each time it comes up and I hope it will be thrown out again before all our green areas in Cranham get concreted over!
The Cranham Conservation Area document can be found on the Council’s website.
