Preventing Child Criminal Exploitation – County Lines talks
Havering Council are holding a series of talks across the borough to help residents spot the signs of child criminal exploitation and know what to do if they suspect a child could be at risk. Included will be information on how drug dealers groom and utilise vulnerable young people to help them run their illegal operations.
The talks, which are being given by an ex Police Trident Group officer, are a follow-up to ones held earlier this year that were well received by those who attended. They are free to attend but are for over 18s only.
Our local talk is at The Coopers Company & Coborn School, Saint Mary’s Lane, Upminster from 6.30-8pm on Monday 07 October.
Tickets must be booked in advance. See Havering Council’s website for further details.
