Proposed School Streets Zones rejected in Cranham and Upminster

Havering council have announced that several new School Streets Zones will be implemented across Havering.

However, both of the ones previously proposed for Upminster and Cranham, for Gaynes School in Branckendale Gardens, Upminster and Engayne Primary School in Severn Drive, Cranham, will not be going ahead, following objections from residents.

Over 90% of responses to the Engayne consultation were against the proposal, with two-thirds of the responders to the Gaynes proposal also objecting.

For full details of the consultation results, plus information on the schemes which will be implemented, see the Havering Council School Streets Phase 3 Decision webpage.
