Remaining We Are 500 events prohibited
It has been announced by Havering Council that under Public Health Regulations, in force due to the current coronavirus pandemic, they have prohibited the remaining three weekends of the We Are 500 events at Damyns Hall Aerodrome.
The reasons given for the decision are –
- That there is a serious and imminent threat to public health.
- That the direction is necessary for the purpose of preventing, protecting against, controlling or providing a public health response to the incidence or spread of infection by coronavirus in the local authority’s area.
- The prohibitions, requirements or restrictions imposed by the direction are a proportionate means of achieving that purpose.
