Save Our Shops (SOS)

On Saturday 23rd June, Residents’ Association members and councillors from Upminster, Cranham and other parts of Havering took part in a photo shoot to promote the Save Our Shops (SOS) campaign. Standing outside the recently closed ShoeZone store in Hornchurch, pictures were taken by a regional newspaper which intends to cover the campaign.

As part of our ongoing actions, we are asking residents and businesses to join in a Public Protest calling for the return of the free 30-minute parking in Upminster and Hornchurch, on Wednesday 10th July at 6.45pm in the Romford Town Hall Car Park, immediately before the July Full Council Meeting. Further details can be found here.

Please come along, as only by having a big turn out will we be able to show the strength of feeling and determination to support the shops in our area. If anyone would like quantities of leaflets to promote the protest at any clubs or organisations you belong to, please contact us via our contact form.
