The Mayor of London has made air pollution one of his priorities and Havering is playing its part in improving air quality.
Public Health are developing a programme of interventions and working with youth councils and partners discussing issues such as how to stop car idling at school gates. A number of schemes will be launched over the coming months including the launch this week of a schools programme and video, informing children on things that can be done to improve air quality.
