Update re Chapmans Farm Planning Application
With reference to our previous post regarding the new planning application (P1883.19) that has been submitted for Chapmans Farm, Hall Lane for a ‘Change of use from commercial livery yard (Sui Generis) to Use Class B1(Business)’, we have now been informed that the deadline for comments to be submitted to the Planning Department is 31 January 2020.
The application has been conditionally called in by a Cranham Ward Residents’ Association councillor, which will mean one of two things –
- If the Planning Office intend to give approval to the application (i.e. grant planning permission) then it will go before the Planning Committee for a decision.
- However, if the Planning Office intend to refuse planning permission then the refusal can go ahead under delegated powers and it will not need to go before the Planning Committee.
The documents submitted as part of the planning application can be viewed via this link. You can submit comments either online via the same link or to the following address – Planning Department, Mercury House, Mercury Gardens, Romford RM1 3SL.
We will keep you updated with any further developments regarding this application.
