This years’ Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association AGM was held on Monday 24 February in the Hurford Hall at St. Laurence Church. The well attended meeting saw the unopposed re-election of Linda Hawthorn as President and Chris Wilkins as Chairman, as well as other officers.

A statement of accounts was presented, showing that the Association made a small profit last year.

At the end of the formal part of the meeting, an informative talk was given by Bob Edwards, the Managing Director of Stubbers Adventure Centre, on the long history of Stubbers and plans for the future.
