Upminster Library to re-open on 12 April

Havering Council have advised that Upminster Library will be re-opening fully from Monday 12 April, in line with the Government’s easing of lockdown restrictions. Opening hours, which will still be restricted for the foreseeable future, are shown below –

  • Monday – 2pm to 7pm
  • Tuesday – 10am to 3pm
  • Wednesday – Closed
  • Thursday – Closed
  • Friday – 10am to 3pm
  • Saturday – 10am to 3pm
  • Sunday Closed

The Central Library in Romford, as well as Hornchurch, Harold Hill, and Rainham libraries, will all open on the same day, with Gidea Park and South Hornchurch libraries opening on Wednesday 14 April.

Elm Park, Harold Wood and Collier Row libraries will remain closed at present, as they are being used as COVID-19 testing centres.
