Hospital capacity is also woeful in Havering with Queens significantly under sized and demand having outstripped provision since it opened, with disastrous overcrowding.

There are brownfield sites all over Lindon that have laid dormant for years, with high PTAL ratings, and far better suited to helping meet demand. The Mayor should have intervened and progressed their development; Silvertown, Spillers Wharf, Plaistow Station, Bromley by Bow, Thamesmead….stalled sites that offer great potential.

This designation and its policies are flawed.

You won’t get affordable housing there .Seems to me someone will do very well (developer) in that location shame the pitch and put got intentionally run down loved the place in the 70s .left that area late 80s returned recently and it seems to me the plan is if its green build on it .

There have been many rumours flying around since the initial planning application went in. Whilst there cannot be any guarantee that an organisation won’t block book rooms, we have been told that Travelodge’s business model does not include this sort of thing for newly built hotels. It has been suggested to us that the likely clientele will be business people and workmen during the week, tourists to London wanting to stay on the outskirts of the city rather than pay inflated inner London prices, and people attending local functions, such as weddings etc. at weekends.
