National Highways Lower Thames Crossing Community Fund
The National Highways Lower Thames Crossing Community Fund for 2026 is now open for applications from constituted charities and community groups.
For Havering, the fund provides grants of up to £10,000 to organisations working to improve the lives of people living in communities close to the Lower Thames Crossing. Projects must support work in one of these priority areas:
- Supporting mental health and wellbeing
- Developing local skills and employment opportunities
- Bringing local communities together
- Community-led environmental projects
The deadline for applying is the 30th March 2026. Guidance can be found and applications can be made via essexcommunityfoundation.org.uk .
