On Friday 21 November 2025, the Upminster & Cranham Residents Association (UCRA) were proud to host our annual Christmas Event. We were pleased to have the Mayor, Cllr Sue Ospreay, in attendance.

Despite being quite cold, we were pleased to see plenty of young people enjoying the fairground rides in Upminster Junior School, supplied by Biddalls Fairgrounds.

Bedrock Radio provided constant festive tunes for everyone to enjoy and we had a performance from the Romford Drum & Trumpet Corp outside Upminster Library. Churches Together Choir (Upminster and Cranham) sang Christmas Carols, to give the event a real Christmas feel.

The Christmas tree was provided with the help of various commercial sponsorship sourced by Havering Council.

As an Association, UCRA would like to give a big thank you to all our sponsors, including Brewdog, Roomes Furniture Store and Ironworks. Special thanks go to The Griffin Group, in particular their Managing Director Alan Webb, who helped UCRA sponsor and provide this year’s festive street lighting.
