The lower Thames Crossing (LTC) are holding a series of community drop-in events close to the Lower Thames Crossing route, where local residents can learn more about plans for the year ahead and what to expect in their area.

Most of the event locations are close to where work has either started or will be starting this year. LTC construction teams will be available to talk about:

• Their plans, including surveys, ground investigations, archaeology, and the diversion of utilities
• Locations of the work compounds and sites, including vehicle access routes and working hours

At the Orsett Hall Hotel event they will also bring a new 3D model of the route, to give a clearer idea of what the final road will look like.

The events closest to us (plus the Orsett Hotel one) are –

• Wednesday 18 March 2026 3-8pm – Orsett Hall Hotel, Prince Charles Avenue, Orsett RM16 3HS
• Thursday 26 March 2026 3-8pm – St Mary Magdalene Church, Church Lane, North Ockendon RM14 3QH
• Saturday 28 March 2026 10am-8.30pm – Lakeside Shopping Centre (Centre Atrium, Lower Mall)
