The Friends of Fleet Close Village Green (FFCVG) have provided an update of their recent progress.

‘In an earlier edition of the Bulletin, we reported that the London Borough of Havering were planning to install some new play equipment in the Fleet Close Village Green. We are pleased to announce that this work was completed in October 2026 and we now have a new slide, basket swing and mini-roundabout, to join the swings and see-saw already in situ.

It is nice to see that children have already found this new equipment and are using it, despite the Autumn which has arrived.

The FFCVG are planning various other improvements to the park and should any readers have ideas or wish to contribute to the Friends Group, please do email us via ffcvg.admin@icloud.com .

We have also set up a FaceBook page at facebook.com/FleetCloseVillageGreen/ Please do look at this and follow our page and progress to improve the park.’
