Havering Council have informed us that due to the red weather warnings for Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 June 2026, the refuse, recycling and green bin collections will start an hour earlier at 6am. This will allow the staff to get much of their work done before the hottest part of the day.

Any missed collections reporting will still be available to residents during this time via havering.gov.uk/rubbish-recycling/report-missed-collection .

The contractor will also plan for additional resources to go out at the weekend, should there be any knock-on effect for more than one day.
