Astrum Multi Academy Trust has launched a consultation for its plan to open Balgores Special Free School, a new purpose-built specialist school in Havering for children and young people with complex learning needs.

The school, which plans to open in Gidea Park in September 2027, will cater for up to 300 pupils with an EHCP and learning difficulties and disabilities.
