UCRA councillors support UPR planning appeal

We have been informed that an appeal against the refusal of planning permission, has been submitted to the national Planning Inspectorate regarding a planning application (P0995.23) at Baldwins Farm, Bramble Road, Upminster. This relates to an application by the landowners to create a facility of 16 various sized football pitches, together with ancillary facilities and car parking, for use by Upminster Park Rovers (UPR) junior football club.

Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association councillors in both Upminster and Cranham Wards, supported the original application, as UPR are currently unable to expand the number of teams (particularly girls teams) that they run, and have to stage their matches at various locations across the borough. Our original letter of support will be included in the appeal documentation.

Details of the original planning application can be found on Havering Council’s website via P0995.23 Land at Baldwins Farm .

To make a comment at the appeal, or modify/withdraw a previous comment, visit Planning Inspectorate – Search Planning Appeals and enter 6014471 in the search box. Comments can be submitted up until midnight on 03 November 2026.
