Following work by Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association’s Cranham Ward Councillors to obtain funding as part of the Section 106 contribution from the Hall Lane Mini Golf site, when the developers applied to omit a small play area at the front of the site, the money obtained has now been spent installing wonderful new equipment at two other play areas in the ward, Fleet Close and Cranham Brickfields.

Both are welcome improvements to the play areas, for families across the ward, and are in addition to the ball court and new equipment installed in Hall Lane Playing Fields over the last couple of years, also using money obtained from the Mini Golf site developers.

If you are interested in signing up to The Friends of Fleet Close Village Green, The Friends of Hall Lane Playing Fields, or the due to start Cranham Brickfields Friends Group, please email: councillorgillian.ford@havering.gov.uk .
