Boundary Commission issues apology to Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association
Following the recent publication of the Local Government Boundary Commission for England’s (LGBCE) draft recommendations, regarding their current review of the local ward boundaries for the London Borough of Havering (see our previous story), the Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association (UCRA) contacted the LGBCE to point out a number of important factual errors in their report relating to the submission by the UCRA to the previous consultation.
We have now received an apology from the LGBCE, who have updated their draft recommendations document to reflect the correct details of our previous submission.
A consultation process on the updated draft recommendations is now open until 05 October 2020. People can view these recommendations and submit their comments via the LGBCE website. The final LGBCE recommendations are due to be published on 11 January 2021.
