British Evacuees Association

Any of our readers who were children during the Second World War, or their relatives, may be interested to know of the British Evacuees Association, which was formed in 1996 with the support of the Imperial War Museum. The charity’s aim is to tell the story of former evacuees and they produce a bi-monthly magazine, The Evacuee, full of photographs and articles.
