Corbets Tey Toilets to reopen

Havering Council have announced that the public toilets in Corbets Tey Road next to Upminster library are to re-open. The council took the decision to close them as a money saving measure a couple of months ago but following lobbying from Upminster and Cranham Residents’ Association councillors, the council have agreed to re-open them pending a review.

It is our opinion that publicly available toilets are a vital part of any thriving large shopping area, and must be retained.

  1. Thank you.
They are essential if children are to use the park. There is also an ageing population who need more frequent access.
I do appreciate that the mothers with children could encourage them better to keep the toilets clean and tidy.I am told this is why they are worse during school holidays
