Corbets Tey Village sign
Councillors Linda Hawthorn and Chris Wilkins were at the recent unveiling of the magnificent village sign at Corbets Tey, on the green close to the Huntsman & Hounds Pub. Otis, Chris’ dog, also attended, with around seventy residents.
The sign was provided following fundraising by local residents and a donation from the Upminster & Cranham Residents Association. Special thanks should go to David Wright, the local Blacksmith, who made the sign at cost.
A number of residents commented to Linda and Chris that they were delighted that the area is staying in Upminster Ward and not being transferred to Rainham.
