Council weed control schedule
Havering Council employs a company to spray weeds growing on roads and footways three times a year, during the growing season. The last treatment for 2023 in Upminster Ward is taking place in August, with Cranham being treated in September.
Approximately three weeks after the weeds are sprayed, they should die off and turn brown.
Many overgrown weeds along street curb in Acacia Drive Upminster RM14 2LJ . We noticed that only one side had been done but not the other side . Will you have any information when the other side will be done which is my side as we don’t want it getting out of control and looking untidy.

Dear Mark,
The roads should have both sides done at the same time when they are sprayed. I will report this to my Upminster Ward colleagues, for them to look into the matter and report it to the council.
