Damyns Hall Aerodrome
Upminster Ward councillors have received a number of complaints over the summer concerning planes and helicopters using Damyns Hall Aerodrome, particularly around the frequency of flights over built-up areas, noise and pollution relating to the commercial operations running from the aerodrome and the safety aspect of some of the flying seen.
We have been liaising with Havering Council regarding the matter and will continue to bring residents concerns to their attention. One piece of information that may be of interest to residents is the airfield’s Noise Abatement Policy which is available on their website www.damynshall.co.uk/flying_in .
