At long last details of a legal agreement have been finalised between the council and the owners of Damyns Hall regarding various matters which should ensure that the silver hanger near the Aveley Road is demolished, together with a number of smaller buildings on the site.

This will allow for the building of the new hanger at the rear of the site which will house the light aircraft which are based there. There are also restrictions on the number of helicopter and airship movements. This agreement also opens the way for the setting up of the local consultative committee which was agreed a while ago but has never to date been constituted.  I will keep you update on these developments.
