Havering Council, through their own development company, Mercury Land Holdings, have outlined proposals to develop the council car park in Dorrington Gardens into 39 houses and flats. The proposal is in its early stages and has not yet been submitted as a planning application.

They have a project website at dorringtongardens.communityuk.site/ and are holding consultation events on 29 and 30 November 2023.
