For several days this week (up to 14 January 2022), there have been earthworks undertaken on the grassed area between Westbury Terrace and St. Mary’s Lane, near to the junction with Ashvale Drive. Due to the size of the works, we enquired with Havering Council as to what they were and received the following reply –

These are fibre network works, being carried out under permit VN00221-12-013-01 by JSM on behalf of EU Networks and joint venture with BT.

The works are now complete and the earth has been reinstated and re-seeded.
