Environment Agency to inspect River Ingrebourne
Following contact by Cranham Ward councillors, the Environment Agency has agreed to inspect the River Ingrebourne in the vicinity of the Dury Falls Estate, as residents have reported small trees and large branches in the river following storms earlier this year. This area is vulnerable to flooding during periods of heavy rainfall and potential obstructions may exacerbate the problem.
The Environment Agency have promised to update councillors with any action they need to take following the inspection.
