The Friends of Fleet Close Village Green (FFCVG) held their first AGM in July 2026 and are pleased to announce that they have formed an Executive Committee of:

• Chair – Philip Madeley
• Treasurer – Andy Fairbairn
• Secretary – Ann Madeley
• Other Executive Committee members – Cllr Gillian Ford, Victoria Holton, Marc Herbert and Nicholas Parojcic.

They have been offered a small but significant grant from the Council to improve the play facilities in the park and over the next few months they will be considering how to spend this money. Additionally the Friends Group will be looking for other income sources to spend on enhancing the park. If anyone has any suggestions or comments, please contact ann.madeley@icloud.com and these will be considered.
