Friends of Hall Lane Playing Fields

Cranham Ward councillors, Gillian Ford, John Tyler and Linda Van den Hende have come together with local residents to form a new friends group for Hall Lane Playing Fields (also known as Upminster Hall Playing Fields). The aim is to preserve and improve the facilities at the playing fields for young and old, and comes after the nearby mini-golf site was closed by Havering Council after a long campaign to retain it.

The Friends of Hall Lane Playing Fields, which currently has 35 members including representatives of the rugby club, has held two online meetings so far, where we discussed ideas such as tree planting, improvements to play facilities and creating pathways. A teacher from Hall Mead School is also a member, as some of the pupils have expressed an interest in becoming involved.

If anyone would like to join the friends group, please fill out a Contact Form or contact any of the Cranham Ward councillors (details on our Councillors webpage).
