The Friends of Upminster Park (FOUP) would like to encourage more volunteers to join the Group. The Friends’ Group bring together the strengths of local communities and the Council, to make a real difference to local parks. The work of a well-organised volunteer group can be extremely beneficial to both the volunteers and the park in which they work. Volunteers can meet new people and gain a sense of achievement and ownership of the park.

In addition, the group is looking for a new Chairperson and Vice Chairperson. If you are interested in joining FOUP, or becoming Chairperson or Vice Chairperson for FOUP, please contact the Secretary, Barry Ward, at baza.999@hotmail.co.uk , who will be able to provide you with more information regarding the FOUP, as well as the above roles.
